The SWIFT SF0983-100M hydraulic filter equivalent is a 100 micron stainless steel wire mesh element built to be cleaned instead of replaced. The woven 304 and 316 stainless steel media traps contaminants and will not shed material into your fluid. When service is due, an ultrasonic bath or back flush restores it, with no replacement cartridge to buy. Absolute 100 micron rating, not an approximate one, so you get the same clean filtration every cycle.
